3Arts WILL MATCH YOUR SUPPORT
3AP 3Arts Artist Projects allows everyone, near and far, to invest directly in the art of Chicago artists. 3AP is designed to build momentum in the careers of our past 3Arts awardees and fellows by supporting their projects.
You can pick the projects that inspire you and decide how much to pledge--$5.00, $50.00, $250.00, or whatever you wish. Unlike similar crowdfunding programs, 3Arts does not charge a service fee to the artists and 3ARTS WILL MATCH 1/3 OF EACH PROJECT’S FUNDING GOAL, so every tax-deductible dollar you contribute will have an even greater impact on the artists we serve.
To stretch your support of the artistic practices and career goals of Chicago artists, 3Arts will contribute 1/3 of each project's funding goal. When the first 1/3 of the project funds have been raised, 3Arts will contribute the next 1/3. If the project is fully funded by the end of the fundraising period, your contribution and our match will go directly to the artist for the purposes described in the project narrative. It's that easy to invest in artists.
This is our way of helping great projects see the light of day. It's also our way of introducing our community to some of Chicago’s most brilliant artists among us.
3AP is funded in part by a grant from THE JOAN MITCHELL FOUNDATION.
HOW IT WORKS
Anyone can view the Projects, but you must sign-in to support a Project. A Project must reach its funding goal before the established deadline to receive funding. When the Project receives donations which equal or exceed the minimum funding goal, then your donation pledge shall be deemed final and your payment will be immediately processed. In the event that your payment cannot be processed due to inaccurate payment information, insufficient funds, or any other reason, you agree to immediately provide 3Arts, Inc. with alternative payment information to fulfill your donation pledge.
However, if at the fundraising deadline, the minimum fundraising goal has not been met, your pledge shall be automatically withdrawn.
