Jocelyn (she/her) was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois to immigrant parents. She discovered her passion for performance early, nurtured through local arts programs. From reciting poems in kindergarten to performing nationally with drill teams and cheerleading in school, her love for the stage only grew. She earned a BA in Acting with a minor in Law & Society from the University of Illinois Chicago’s School of Theatre and Music. Her stage credits include Sanctuary City at Steppenwolf Theatre, Omer Abbas Salem's Happy Days Are Here (Again) at Steep Theatre, Nancy Garcia Loza’s Rust at Goodman Theatre’s New Stages, and Loza's world-premiere of Bull: a love story at Paramount Theatre. On screen, she has guest-starred in Chicago PD and The Chi.
