Visual Arts

Lisa (she/her) is a designer, musician, and facilitator based in Chicago. Her work navigates the slippery tensions between emergent technologies and traditional print-based design tools. By incorporating sound design, moving image, and lights as materials, she strives to make work that stirs the senses — making people question their perspectives and examine their own layers of humanity. Much of Lisa's work is collaborative by nature, participatory by design, and motivated by community.

Lisa actively serves on the board of the Chicago Printers Guild as lead for the Design Bureau. She is also a volunteer organizer of the Love Fridge Chicago, a mutual aid network working towards food sovereignty by sustaining free food community refrigerators. Currently, she performs and records music in the electronic music duo, Drasii and co-produces a monthly show on Lumpen Radio called Chando Radio. In 2024, Lisa began Shape Shift Press as an outlet for publishing artist books, pieces of writing, and other collaboratively produced print materials.
