Selva Zafiro Luna (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator. Their practice integrates print media, garment design, word and symbol to highlight queer opulence. As an educator they've worked in public schools across Chicago for more than a decade. 

They are currently the artist in residence at the National Museum of Mexican Arts' Nuestras Historias Residency, where they collaborate with eight different teachers across CPS to create and lead an arts integration curriculum. Selva also is co-founder of Marimacha Monarcha Press, a collective of artists and educators, queer and trans creatives and workshop leaders with rasquachismo practices, printing, and publications for and by the hood.
