Em Modaff (they/them) is an actor, musician, and tarot reader based in Chicago. You may have seen them as Alison Bechdel in Fun Home (Paramount Theatre), Abigail Bengson in Hundred Days (Kokandy Productions), Helga in The Secretaries (First Floor Theater), Charlyne in Christmas is Cancelled (Amazon Prime), Benji in What Rhymes with Magdalena (Chicago Latino Film Festival 3rd Place), and Lev in the Sundance Award-winning Desire Lines. They've competed in and won with original pieces in The Moth and Write Club. Their work has been featured in Hooligan Magazine, Sober Nation, The Chicago Tribune, and Scapi Magazine. 

Em is proudly one-fourth of the indie rock band Mozey which began after Em met Zoë DePreta met while acting in and composing music for Red Tape Theatre's 2018 production of We are Pussy Riot Or Everything Is P.R. Mozey's music can be found on all streaming platforms and on IG at @mozeytheband.
