Elisabete YJ Seonwoo aka Kerberus
Elisabete Yoon Ju Seonwoo, aka Kerberus (they/she), received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her focus on exploring the artistic language of liberation in art and technology and mixed new media dance performances connect to her emotions and experience living as a woman of color in a digital age. By archiving her body movements with a 3D motion capture suit and virtual reality, she creates the mind palace that allows her to be her authentic self. Under the name, Kerberus, she is a co-founding member of the Chicago Krump dance collective, Chibuck. She holds Krump as a creative language to inspire and empower others in the Chicago dance and art community to spread positive messages.
